Memberships
Rec Sports offers a wide range of recreational activities designed to meet the interests of the students and the University community. Members have access to the Central Campus Recreation Building (CCRB), Intramural Sports Building (IMSB) and North Campus Recreation Building (NCRB), numerous programs that require no extra fee, including use of over 500 pieces of cardio and weight equipment, equipment check-out, unlimited drop-in use of basketball, volleyball, racquetball courts, two indoor tracks, and three indoor pools. Members can register to play in a variety of intramural sports and participate in club sports.
Members must present a valid M-Card for adminttance into the recreation buildings.

Membership Classifications
Student: Currently enrolled UM students have access to all of the facilities when they pay their student activity fee each semester. A UM student not enrolled for the current semester, but enrolled in the previous term or upcoming semester or has a letter of acceptance for the upcoming semester, is eligible to purchase a Continuing Student membership. Current UM Flint or UM Dearborn students may also purchase a Continuing Student Pass or may sponsor themselves for a daily guest pass.

Faculty/Staff, Visiting Scholar or Post-Doctorate Membership Fees:
- Standard Gold 12-month: $360
- Standard Blue 4-month: $180
- Standard Trial 30-days: $60
- Early Bird Gold 12-month: $300
- Early Bird Blue 4-month: $140
- Early Bird Trial 30-days: $60
Alum or Sponsored Adult/Partner Membership Fees:
- Standard Gold 12-month: $420
- Standard Blue 4-month: $200
- Standard Trial 30-days: $90
- Early Bird Gold 12-month: $360
- Early Bird Blue 4-month: $180
- Early Bird Trial 30-days: $90
UM Retiree or Children (Under 18 years old) Membership Fees:
- Standard & Early Bird Gold 12-month: $120
- Standard & Early Bird Blue 4-month: $60
- Standard & Early Bird Trial 30-days: $30
Dependent Child (18-25 years old) Membership Fees:
- Standard Gold 12-month: $300
- Standard Blue 4-month: $140

Guest Policies
Rec Sports members, UM students (all campuses), UM faculty/staff (all campuses) who would like to bring a guest must purchase a $10 daily guest pass for their guest(s) to gain access to the recreation buildings. The purchase of a daily guest pass includes the use of a locker & towel at no additional cost. The guest pass is valid for use at any Rec Sports facility on the same day on which it was purchased. A picture ID is required to purchase and to use the guest pass. This pass may be used to re-enter any Recreational Sports facility on the same day on which it was purchased.
