Men's Rugby Take Silver at Meijer State Games
This past Saturday, eleven members of the University of Men's Rugby team headed to Grand Rapids to compete in the Meijer State Games.
Michigan saw some great competition in the 7's tournament, playing Flint, Gun-Ru, Houghton, and Central Michigan University.
In game 1, Michigan beat Flint 31-12. In game 2, Gun-Ru came out on top 33-12. The quarterfinals saw Michigan sail past Houghton 28-10. Central Michigan fell to the Wolverines 21-35 in the semi's before Michigan lost a heartbreaker in the finals to Gun-Ru 19-22.
