No. 3 Women's Lacrosse Club heads West to Nationals
With a strong record of 12-4, Michigan is ready to take on their opponents at Nationals this week. Michigan arrived in Colorado on Saturday, May 5 to get some training in before the National Championship Tournament. The team practice in Evergreen and then in Denver after it snowed in Evergreen.
From the Women's Lacrosse Club's website:
"Michigan has been seeded 3rd for this year's National Tournament in Colorado Springs, CO, and will face (#14) UVA in the opening round on Wednesday morning, May 9th, at 9:30am (MST). Rounding out the top 5 seeds at the tournament are: #1 Colorado State, #2 UC-Santa Barbara, #4 Florida, and #5 Colorado.
The Wolverines are anxious to play in this year's tournament, excited about their seed and their chances of winning the tournament this year! Follow the games on Twitter @umichWLAXclub, or better yet, come to Colorado Springs to cheer the team on!"
