Register your Club on Maize Pages!
The new Club Sports software is finally here! All student organizations, including Club Sports, must register with the Center for Campus Invovlement (CCI) on the new Maize Pages.
Each Club team will have their own page within this software where the officers will be able to update, change, and upload documents. All of the Club Sports paperwork, forms, documents, and roster system will be through Maize Pages.
The first thing that each club needs to do is have the officer you want to be the primary contact for the club to register your team on the site.
Your club MUST be registered on Maize Pages by Wednesday August 1, 2012. Below are instructions on how to register.
1. ) Go to http://maizepages.umich.edu/. You will need to login and create a personal profile first before you can register your club.
2. ) Once you create a profile click on the Organizations tab on the yellow toolbar.
3. ) Click on the Register New Organization button. The person completing this registration process will be the primary contact person for your club.
4. ) Before beginning your registration you will want to have the following information in hand to complete registration.
- The name of your organization must comply with the University’s naming policies
- 10 U-M current student names and phone numbers. (“Current” is defined as students who are enrolled for the 2012-2013 academic year)
- Advisors, Faculty and Staff are not eligible as part of this 10 member list.
- Identify 3 authorized signers for your organization (from the 10 students)
- Organization Constitution. The document should be current and updated with how your organization currently does business.
- For more information on constitutions and what should be included, please view the sample constitution.
- A picture to represent your organization for your profile.
- For SSO, you will also need to provide a new sponsorship agreement.
5. ) Complete all 8 steps of registration.
- For the Club's official name you can put the name that your Club identifies with (ex: Women's Ultimate Frisbee - Flywheel, Running Club - MRun).
- For the nickname you must put Club Sports.
The nickname "Club Sports" will show up in parentheses at the end of your name. This identifies that your club is part of the Club Sports Program. See the Club Sports Program Maize Pages as an example.
For Organization Category select as many as you want but you must select "Sports Clubs & Recreation"
We will offer drop in sessions if you want to come in and get help with registering your club on Maize Pages. Please bring all the information listed in #4 above to the drop in session with you.
All sessions will be held at the Club Sports Offices in the Intramural Building.
