Canoeing: Huron River - Ann Arbor, MI - Sept. 16, 2012

Discover nature in your backyard! This trip is designed for any budget for any overworked, time-crunched student! The trip will be a five-hour canoe ride down the Huron River, from Delhi Metropark to Gallup City Park. The ride will mostly be a leisurely flat water paddle, but at the very beginning, we will either portage, or venture down the cascades! The trip will include a stop for lunch and plenty of photo opportunities. It is a one-day trip at the beginning of the semester; a perfect study break and a good opportunity to kick off the year with new friends! Everyone needs a good dose of the outdoors and it is a great opportunity to see the nature resources available to Ann Arbor residents.
