Intramural Sports

Get out there and have some fun! You can form a team and join an intramural league with weekly matches. Or, if you don’t want to commit to a season of play, you can opt to participate in our tournaments. In any case, intramurals are an opportunity to get active, have fun and meet some like-minded friends. Want to play, but can’t find a team? You can join as a Free Agent.

Winter 2024 Sports & Fees

Winter A
Registration CLOSED

Dates:

  • Registration: Closed January 22nd at 4:00 pm
  • Regular Season:  January 28th – February 5th
  • Playoffs: February 18th – March 14th

Offered Sports (self-officiated):

  • Table Tennis (1v1) at Intramural Sports Building (IMSB) Game Lounge
  • Racquetball (1v1 & 2v2) at Intramural Sports Building (IMSB) Lower Level
  • Euchre (2v2) at Intramural Sports Building (IMSB) Game Lounge
  • Extreme Dodgeball (4v4) at the Intramural Sports Building (IMSB) Racquetball Courts

Offered Tournaments (included with Winter A or Semester Pass):

  • Pickleball (Doubles)
    • January 28th-29th at the Sports Coliseum
    • Further details will be available in the Fusion Play app, available in the App Store or Google Play Store.
Winter X
Registration CLOSED

Dates:

  • Registration: Closed January 29th at 4:00 pm
  • Regular Season:  February 4th – March 21st
  • Playoffs: March 24th – April 18th

Offered Sports (officiated):

  • Basketball (5v5) at Intramural Sports Building (IMSB) Gymnasium
  • Volleyball (6v6) at Intramural Sports Building (IMSB) Gymnasium
  • Indoor Soccer (4v4) at Sports Coliseum
Winter B
Registration CLOSED

Dates:

  • Registration: March 4th at 10:00 am – March 11th at 4:00 pm
  • Regular Season:  March 17th – April 7th
  • Playoffs: April 9th – April 23rd

Available Sports (self-officiated):

  • Wallyball (4v4) at Intramural Sports Building (IMSB) Racquetball Courts
  • Table Tennis (1v1) at Intramural Sports Building (IMSB) Game Lounge
  • UNO (Individual) at Intramural Sports Building (IMSB) Game Lounge
  • Cornhole (2v2) at the Intramural Sports Building (IMSB) Racquetball Courts
  • Chess (1v1) online on Chess.com (personal account required during registration)

Registration opens April 29th – Season runs May 13th-June 20th

Dates:

  • Registration: April 29th 10am – May 6th 5pm
  • Regular Season Round Robin:  May 13th – June 13th
  • Championship Week: June 17th – June 20th
    • Teams will be seeded from their 5 week round robin schedule
      • 1 vs 2 (Championship)
      • 3 vs 4 (3rd Place Game)
      • 5 vs 6 (For fun!)

Pricing:

  • Spring Pass: $20 per person for access to all offered sports
    • Spring/Summer Intramurals do not require an active recreational sports membership to participate
    • All paid passes are available on our webstore and must be purchased before you can register for a sport or team.

Dates:

  • Registration: June 21st 10am – June 28th 5pm
  • Regular Season Round Robin:  July 8th – August 8th
  • Championship Week: August 12th – August 18th

      • 1 vs 2 (Championship)
      • 3 vs 4 (3rd Place Game)
      • 5 vs 6 (For fun!)

  • Summer Pass: $20 per person for access to all offered sports

All league registration takes place on Fusion Play, which is available via the App Store or Google Play Store.

How to Purchase a Season Pass
  1. Click here to go to our webstore
  2. Click on Intramural Sports Passes.
  3. Sign in with your UM-Credentials, or membership account
  4. Once you’re logged in or have created an account, select the season pass you’d like to purchase, and follow the prompts to complete your purchase.
How to log in to Fusion Play
  1. Download Fusion Play via the App Store or Google Play Store
  2. Log in to Fusion Play with your UM-Credentials or the email you used to purchase your season pass
    1. If you are logging in with non-UM-credentials, check your receipt from your season pass purchase for the group code to enter
  3. Once logged in, be sure to head to your profile, and update your information
How to register for a league

Looking for a team to play with? Need more players to fill your team?

Free Agent status is identified as participants who do not already have a team but want to join one.

Free Agents – log in to Fusion Play, find the sports and leagues you are interested in joining, and add yourself to the Free Agent list. Also, check out Fusion Play for Free Agent teams that individuals can join. You can also try and find a team by using the Intramural Discord.

Team Captains – search through Free Agent lists to find more teammates after your team is registered.

All Intramural Participants are expected to read and abide by the
Intramural Sports Policies and Sport Rules.

The purpose of the Policies and Rules is to ensure an equitable and enjoyable experience is possible for all participants and staff members. Explanation of the SRS point system is outlined in the Policy Manual.
