In need of some fast-paced action out on the fields? Ultimate Frisbee will deliver exactly that. Played on a field similar to a flag football playing surface, Ultimate teams will have seven players in hopes of completing consecutive passes all the way to the opponent's endzone.
Don't have enough people to field a full team? 3-on-3 Soccer combines the conveniency of pickup soccer with the intensity of Intramural t-shirt competition. Come play outside and compete to determine who has the best 3-man team.
Can't find anywhere to play soccer at with all the snow on the ground? Intramural Indoor Soccer works great for all soccer fans, serving as a team sport consisting of four players, including one goalkeeper, played on a basketball court.
Rec Sports will mark its 100th anniversary in 2013, and will commemorate its centennial with many events and programs honoring the department's rich history.
Once the regular season has ended, playoff brackets will be made available for viewing. Playoff registration will go live on Monday, October 8 at 10 AM! It will close at 4:30 PM.

Since bunting is disallowed, as well as leading off and stealing being illegal, teams must compete at high levels to score more runs than their opponents.

In Intramurals, it is a team sport consisting of nine players on each team, including the goalkeeper. With no offside rule in effect, the game allows for smaller fields to be a bit more open than usual.
Sand Volleyball is a team sport consisting of two teams of four. As in indoor volleyball, teams compete to send the ball over the net and onto the ground of their opponents, with the added element of the sand court making it a little tougher to accomplish. Using rally scoring, teams may score on any serve. Due to the competitive play and easiness of rules, sand volleyball has grown in popularity around the world.
