SURPRISE, Ariz., April 13, 2013 – The United States Tennis Association (USTA) today announced University of Michigan from Ann Arbor, Mich. placed third at the 2013 USTA Tennis On Campus National Championship held in Surprise, Ariz., April 11-13.

In mid-November, the Michigan Sailing team competed in the 66th Timme Angsten Memorial Regatta hosted by Northwestern in Chicago, Illinois.

The excerpt below comes from the Regatta's website:

"Michigan was able to hold onto their lead and ended up winning the regatta as well as both divisions. The last time Michigan won the Timme Angsten Trophy was in 1977, thirty five years ago."

The Sailing team has a few other notable achievements for the month of November.

April 28-29 was another busy weekend for Michigan Club Sports.  While the University of Michigan campus was bustling with 2012 Spring Commencement on Saturday, these clubs were busy competing and qualifying for Nationals.
