CCRB Main Entrance

Completed in 1977, the Central Campus Recreation Building (CCRB) remains the largest of the three recreation facilities on campus. The building is located on the corner of Washtenaw Avenue and Geddes Road, and provides a variety of amenities to its patrons. Although a membership is required for access, the department offers a range of membership types to satisfy its different users of the University Community.  The CCRB is where fitness happens through the Recreational Sports Group-X and  School of Kinesiology U-Move Programs.

A number of available activities take place within the facility, including badminton, basketball, boxing, cardio exercise, soccer, swimming, and more. See What Activities are Available for a complete list.

Certain courts and facilities relating to these activities are available through Rentals and Reservations. Next-day reservations can be made for racquet sports by calling our reservation line at (734) 764-8167 beginning at 5:30pm.
