Outdoor Adventures provides a variety of opportunities for students, faculty, staff and community members to explore, adventure and recreate in the outdoors.
Led by our extensively trained staff, our trips offer unique experiences to escape and meet new people for up to a day, a weekend or a week. Once you sign up for a trip we take care of the rest - the only thing we require from you before the trip is attendance at our pre-trip meetings held the Tuesday night before each outing. Our staff takes care of planning, logistics, food shopping and contractor fees, so the only reason you may need cash is for food during travel.
General Trip Process
Once you've signed up for a trip your trip leaders will email you the necessary forms that they will ask you to bring to your pre-trip meeting. When you show up for your pre-trip meeting your leaders will collect your forms, cover general trip itinerary, review packing lists and then create a menu with all of you. All food preferences will be accommodated.
A departure time will be determined at your pre-trip meeting and you will travel to your destination via university vans, most trips will camp in tents provided by Outdoor Adventures. Your leaders will provide the necessary direction throughout your trip and they can answer additional questions once you've signed up!
