Due to the rapidly spreading COVID-19 virus, Governor Gretchen Whitmer has ordered that all recreation centers close, effective immediately. All Recreational Sports facilities will remain closed indefinitely.

The Bell Pool will be closed 6:00am – 9:00am, and the Women’s Bell Pool Locker Room will be closed 7:00am – 9:00am on Thursday, March 26 for maintenance. The pool and the locker room will reopen when maintenance is complete.

While the risk to the American public is low, it’s our aim to provide a clean and safe environment so you can continue to pursue your fitness goals. Here’s what you can expect from Recreational Sports in response to the COVID-19 outbreak:
In addition to our efforts, please stay home if you feel sick, wash your hands often, and remember to clean your equipment before and after you use it. If you need additional sanitizing spray, cleaning cloths, or hand sanitizer while you are in our facilities, please ask the employees working at the welcome centers.

Elbel Field is closed for the winter and will open again in the spring.
