The Intramural Sports Building is currently closed for renovations until Fall 2016.
Located on Hoover Ave, the IMSB stands as the first collegiate intramural sports building in America, and the oldest of the three recreation facilities on campus. Since its completion in 1928, the building has managed to preserve its historic charm, providing a unique experience for patrons. While the IMSB is primarily used for the Intramural Program, the Drop-In Program, Club Sport events, and a variety of other special events are also held in the facility. A membership is required for access, but the department of recreation sports offers a variety of memberships to accommodate every user.
A number of our courts and facilities are available to be rented or reserved. Next-day reservations can be made for racquet sports by calling our reservation line at (734) 764-3163 beginning at 5:30pm. Interested in another space? Please see Rentals and Reservations for more information.
