Indoor Facilities

Central Campus Recreation Building (CCRB) (map)
The CCRB is the largest Recreational Sports facility. Inside you'll find 3 basketball courts, 2 volleyball/3 badminton courts, a 220-yard elevated running track, fitness rooms and much more. Also located in the CCRB is the Margaret Bell Pool, a 25-yard (6 lanes) lap swim pool. 


Intramural Sports Building (IMSB) (map)
Currently closed for renovations until Fall 2016.


MRock (IMSB)
Currently closed for renovations in the IMSB until Fall 2016.


North Campus Recreation Building (NCRB) (map)
Located at the corner of Hubbard Road and Murfin Avenue, the North Campus Recreation Building (1976) houses everything you need in a fitness facility including free weights, selectorized machines, and cardiovascular training machines. The NCRB also has a 25-yard (6 lanes) lap swim pool. 


Outdoor Adventures Rental Center (map)
The Outdoor Adventures Rental Center offers quality and affordable outdoor and recreational equipment to UM students, faculty, staff, alumni, and community members. Wilderness training and outdoor trips run out of the Rental Center.


Sports Coliseum (map)
Located on the corner of Fifth Avenue and Hill Street, the Sports Coliseum is a 36,000 sq. ft. multi-purpose facility used for Intramural Sports, Club Sports, and rentals. Starting Fall 2015, the Sports Coliseum will be available for drop-in activity while the IMSB undergoes renovations.


Outdoor Facilities

Elbel Field (map)
Located at the corner of South Division Street and Hill Street, this outdoor complex includes a 100-yard artificial turf football field, two sand volleyball courts, picnic area, two softball fields, and field area for soccer and ultimate frisbee.
Elbel Field will be closed for the winter season starting Thursday, November 26, 2015.


Mitchell Field (map)

Located on Fuller Road between the U-M hospital and North Campus.  Mitchell Field is used for Club Sports, Intramural Sports, and rentals.


Palmer Field (map)

Palmer Field is available for drop-in activities and rental.  Facilities include a basketball pad, 1/4 mile track, eight tennis courts, and a field area for soccer, rugby, and frisbee.
Palmer tennis lights will be turned off starting Monday, November 16, 2015.
Palmer Field will be closed for the winter season starting Thursday, November 26, 2015.


Radrick Challenge Program (map)

The Radrick facility (3,100 sq. ft.) includes an indoor meeting room and outdoor picnic area that provide an environment that is ideal for group outings, conferences and retreats. The facility can also be requested for picnics, reunions, birthday parties, and much more.
