Kettlebell is a fun and effective way to increase your strength, build your cardiovascular endurance, and improve your overall fitness level. In this class, you’ll master the technique of foundational kettlebell movements including the swing, clean and snatch.
Take your kettlebell workout to the next level under the guidance of a professional. Our workouts use a variety of unique progressions and movements, training styles (e.g., ladders, circuits, high intensity interval training), and techniques to ensure that you are building strength, improving your cardiovascular fitness, and having fun! Be ready to work hard and improve your body awareness in this rewarding class.
This class is an in-depth exploration of yoga, mindfulness, and meditation for optimal health, wellness, and vitality. This program is geared toward people with little to no experience, as well as those who wish to reconnect with the fundamentals of alignment and mind-body awareness.
In addition to practicing and learning about different types of yoga, meditation, and breathing/relaxation techniques, this program also offers you the chance for self-reflection via journaling. There will be weekly mindfulness practices to facilitate wellness and resilience in other areas of your life, like work, schooling, sport/fitness endeavors, and social interactions.
This class is a great preparation for more vigorous classes, and it will promote greater self-awareness to increase your focus and engagement in day-to-day living.
Yoga and meditation are perfect complementary practices for running. Yoga helps develop and maintain muscular strength, flexibility, and balance. It helps prevent injuries and promotes recovery. When practiced regularly, yoga can enhance the mental focus and breathing efficiency, so much so that running may become a meditation in and of itself!
In this training program, participants of all levels who run for hobby or sport will be led through weekly hour-long practices that focus on balance, stability, and breath work. You’ll increase your enjoyment, enhance your motivation and improve your performance.
This beginner ballet class is designed to introduce and refine the basics of ballet. Students will learn the basic positions, correct body alignment with both hands on the barre and an introduction to basic ballet terminology. This class is perfect for anyone who has been interested in dance but never really got the chance to see what it’s like. These classes will be taught in a welcoming and non-competitive environment.
Take your asana practice to the next level with this advanced yoga class. This program is geared toward people who already have a foundation in yoga and are looking to develop their asana, or physical, practice. Through the 7 weeks, this program will take you through complex vinyasa flows and challenging poses. Each week will be focused on working towards a different “peak pose.” The majority of the class will be spent as a vinyasa flow class, preparing the body for a challenging arm balance, bind, inversion, etc. Each class will also be incorporated with yin poses, guided meditations, breathing techniques, etc. to close the class. In addition, there will be recommended weekly exercises to accompany your yoga practice, designed to increase your strength, stamina, balance, and flexibility. This class is great for anyone looking challenge their physical capabilities while practicing mind-body awareness, breath control, and mindfulness.
